Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, also known as Adult Onset Diabetes, is the most common form of diabetes and has no known cure. People who have this type of the disease cannot produce enough insulin on their own and a person can become hypoglycemic. A person cannot then store blood sugars in the body for later conversion to energy. A fasting blood glucose level test or a Hemoglobin A1c test can be performed by a doctor to check for Adult Onset Diabetes.
